  • English Teacher

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
    • Is familiar with classic and non-classic works of literature, with a focus on female authors 
    • Is skilled at implementing differentiated reading, writing, analytical instruction to students whose abilities may vary widely
    • Is fiercely committed to upholding standards of academic integrity for all students  
    • Is able to adapt to change and react to events in a decisive manner
    • Possesses professional verbal and written communication skills
    • Takes initiative in problem-solving independently and as a member of a team
    • Understands and makes use of school technology to enhance instruction and classroom experiences

    SUBJECT-SPECIFIC MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  
    ● Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in English (Master’s degree preferred) 
    ● Certification: Illinois Professional Educator License: 9-12 
  • Science Teacher

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
    • Able to differentiate classroom instruction / labs for students with varying levels of science instruction prior to entering Trinity High School 
    • Focuses on the importance of women’s contributions to STEM fields 
    • Willing and able to teach courses in both life and physical sciences
    • Is fiercely committed to upholding standards of academic integrity for all students    
    • Able to adapt to change and react to events in a decisive manner
    • Possesses professional verbal and written communication skills
    • Takes initiative in problem-solving independently and as a member of a team
    • Understands and makes use of school technology to enhance instruction and classroom experiences
    • Models passion for STEM-related topics, university majors, and future careers 
    • Models Catholic values
    SUBJECT-SPECIFIC MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  
    ● Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in the one of the areas studied in the Science Department: Biology, Chemistry, or Physics  (Master’s degree preferred) 
    ● Certification: Illinois Professional Educator License: 9-12 
  • World Language - French & Spanish Combined Position

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
    • Ability and willingness to provide instruction between 25% and 100% of the time in the target language, depending on the grade and academic level of the course  
    • Capable of creating a sense of trust and non-judgment among students in a World Language classroom setting
    • Holds a deep appreciation for the culture and customs of the countries where the target language is spoken   
    • Is fiercely committed to upholding standards of academic integrity for all students  
    • Able to adapt to change and react to events in a decisive manner
    • Possesses professional verbal and written communication skills
    • Takes initiative in problem-solving independently and as a member of a team
    • Understands and makes use of school technology to enhance instruction and classroom experiences
    • Models Catholic values
