Math Contest - Dec. 8, 2007
On Saturday, Dec. 8nd over one-hundred forty 7th and 8th grade girls from twenty-five area schools participated in our annual competive Math Contest. This waa great opportunity for girls to utilize problem-solving skills in a fun and welcoming environment. Students competed individually to successfully answer problems using essential math skills such as pre-algebra and geometry. Students competed by grade level and prizes were awarded to the top five scoring students in each grade; all participants received t-shirts.
