Trinity takes home Best of Show in the Painting category at the Triton Regional High School Art Competition
Congratulations to Ms. Quimby, Mrs. Siliunas, and Mrs. Smith and their talented students for an outstanding performance at the selective Triton College regional high school art competition. The following students won awards for their artwork at the judging, which took place on Saturday, January 7th. Trinity students placed in the categories of: drawing, painting, design, printmaking, sculpture, and fiber art. The work will be on display in the gallery of the Fine Arts Building through the month of february.
Trinity art students were honored at the opening reception of the Triton College High School Art Competition. Sophomore Jamie Chin was recognized for her "Unmade Bed" which was named the Best of Show in Painting. Twenty-five Trinity artists were awarded. Congratulations to all our winners!
