Art Classes Visit the Chicago Cultural Center
 
On Thursday, October 17th, Ms Quimby and Mrs Siliunas' Painting and IB Art and Design classes got an opportunity to view "Women of the World: A Global Collection of Art", at the Chicago Cultural Center.
"Organized by New York artist and world traveler, Claudia DeMonte, this exhibition of small-scale paintings, photographs and sculpture was created by women artists from 174 different countries. In asking the question, 'What image represents women?' DeMonte invited each woman to create a work of art that expressed their view of the essential quality of women, and assembled their works into a historically unique exhibit."
