A student reflection…

On November 7th, I attended the Trinity Donor Recognition Mass. It was a wonderful experience; the priest gave a lovely homily about how the halls of Trinity high School are pretty much the same after 90 years. He also spoke about how Trinity is one of the most diverse schools he has ever seen and how wonderful it is. Sister Michelle also gave some encouraging words on how now more than ever we need Trinity because there are not too many all girls schools left; because of that we need to stay alive and help woman become strong, confident, and find their specific personality. The choir for the Mass was le ragazze (the girls, in Italian). They did a wonderful job. They really made the Mass full of the wonderful essence of Trinity. Plenty of Alumni were present at the Mass, and seeing the alumnae with current students of Trinity was truly a beautiful experience. After the Mass everyone went over to the Sr. Michelle Germanson, O.P. athletic facility to engage in eating, and wonderful conversations with one another about Trinity. I was able to speak to an alumna and to hear how much Trinity is still the same but evolved for the better. It really lifted my spirit. -- Andrea Jones ‘09
