Trinitarian Honoree 2004
Catherine "Putt" Brady, 1922-2002
Trinitarian Award Honoree
Bal Dominique 2004 was a gracious venue to honor this truly dedicated supporter of the Trinity Mission.
Trinity's Board of Directors voted unanimously to confer the prestigious Trinitarian Award, given to a member of the Trinity Community who is a leader in the development of skills for lifelong learning, an ethic of care and the desire for excellence. The award will be conferred posthumously to Catherine "Putt" Kelly Brady, Class of 1940.
Putt Brady was the former Dean of Students at Trinity High School from 1967-1992. Agreeing to a request to come and "fill in" for two weeks, she did assume responsibilities for those two weeks
AND twenty-five years! A strong, dedicated woman who loved Trinity, its mission and message, Putt was a lady, a role model, a woman of spirit and conviction. She truly emulated the qualities of Trinity women with her intelligence, tenacity, sensitivity, warmth and humor. She was one of four Kelly sisters who attended Trinity, followed by her daughter Triss Brady Meyer' 67, her two grandchildren, Katie Meyer Ortiz,'92 and Margaret Meyer,'95 along with numerous nieces.
Trinity is blessed for all Putt has given to us and were pleased to honor her memory, at Trinity's home, on March 27, 2004, at the celebratory Bal Dominique she loved to attend!
