Trinity High School recently welcomed back twelve alumnae along with ten other professional women for their 12th annual Women in Leadership Day. This year’s event was designed to acquaint students with leaders in healthcare fields. Women in Leadership Day is more than a “career day”, it was created to inform Trinity students on a personal level of the opportunities available for women in many different fields. The interaction with accomplished women also serves to educate Trinity students about the progress and achievements of women who have preceded them into leadership positions. This year’s keynote speaker was Dr. Bridgid K. Steele, M.D. Dr. Steele is an Associate Professor at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. “Dr. Steele inspired me to work hard and strive for excellence in whatever I do. Her words were kind and encouraging and I will often think of her guidance when I face challenges on my future.” Christi McNamara “06. The event is held every March in honor of Women’s History Month.
