Women
in the Arts Conference
As reported in the Spring 1999 issue of the LINK.
On
March 18, 1999 Trinity presented a one-day conference designed
to provide students with information, insight, and demonstrations
of careers in the arts. The keynote speaker for the conference
was Kim Piotrowski, an artist and fine arts manager.
Along
with Ms Piotrowski, Trinity welcomed twenty-four female presenters,
including some alums, who gave presentations about their careers
in the arts. This opportunity allows the young women of Trinity
to network with women who are successful role models, and
whose time and talents impact others as they strive to achieve
their professional and personal goals.
The
alumnae presenters were:
Linda Cibula '72 - Artist
Patricia Nottoli DiGiovanni '85 - Fashion Specialist
Jeanne Homer '89 - Architect
Danielle Ippolito '94 - Dancer
Susan Kaszynski '71 - Musician
Dale Marie Krizek '63 - Teacher
Sylvia Christian Nasshan '51- Musician
"Women
in the Arts" is the 6th Annual conference of its kind,
following "Women Who Make A Difference" (1998),
"Women in Science and Technology" (1997), "Women
in Leadership" (1996), "Women in Wellness"
(1995), and "Women in the Arts" (1994).
