Quill & Scroll
The international honorary society for high school journalists, Quill and Scroll was organized in 1926 to promote and reward achievement in journalism. Trinity's local chapter consists of its two long established student publications, The Blaze, Trinity's newspaper, and Wyndword, the yearbook. Members are selected based on their involvement and desire to excel in the area of journalism, as well as on their scholastic standing. It is an honor to be a member of the Quill and Scroll Society which continuously inspires students to attain its high standards. Each year members inducted into this organization enjoy the challenges of gathering stories, writing copy, taking pictures, and designing layouts for Trinity's news and historical record. New members are sought each spring.
Mrs. Julia Buckley, Blaze moderator, and Mrs. Rose Crnkovich, Wyndword moderator, will contact students who meet the criteria put forward by Quill and Scroll.
