Environmental Club
The goals of the Environmental Club at Trinity High School are to keep the entire school aware of pressing environmental issues and what they can do to be involved. The Environmental Club is responsible for recycling at Trinity. Every classroom has at least one recycling bin, which is collected every month by club members. The Environmental Club has created and participated in events such as newspaper drives, Environmentally Friendly raffles, dress down days and informative bulletins. We take action in the local community and activities worldwide by participating in the annual DesPlaines River Cleanup, funding animal adoptions through organizations such as Farm Sanctuary and Brookfield Zoo, supporting and circulating petitions, and helping to restore Illinois' magnificent prairies. These activities are fun, rewarding, and keep students aware of and active in their local and global environment.
