Dear Coach and/or Athletic Director,
My name is Katy Schabes and as the Head Volleyball Coach at Trinity High School I am excited to announce that Trinity will host our third annual 7th and 8th grade volleyball tournament. The tournament will run from March 15th - 16th at the Sister Michelle Germanson, O.P. Athletic Facility, 7574 W. Division, River Forest. Along with my coaching staff, I would like to extend an invitation to your school to participate in this fun-filled event.
Teams will be accepted into the tournament on a first come, first serve basis. Please keep in mind that 7th and 8th grade level teams will be competing against each other in this multi-grade level tournament. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games and a maximum of five matches for the tournament. All games will follow IHSA rules and regulations.
Participating teams will be placed into pools via a blind draw. Pool play will take place on Saturday, March 15. The top teams from each pool will advance to the playoffs on Sunday, March 16. T-shirts will be awarded to all participating teams. Although your roster is not limited, a maximum of sixteen T-shirts will be provided for each team.
This year’s entry fee is $150. Space is limited so be sure to complete the registration form and submit your fee early. Please make checks payable to Trinity Athletics. The entry deadline is February 22.
