May 9, 2008, Sectional Meet at Concordia
The Blazers traveled all the way to Concordia, ok, a couple of blocks, for their 2008 Sectional meet. Trinity finished 11th out of 19 teams at a very tough sectional where 9 meet record's were broken. The 4x800 team of Maureen Conneely, Jess Rubin, Arielle Arzu and Liz Dolis turned in their best time of the season, 11:03.94 and finished 6th. Christina Kosanovic threw a season best 30-04.5 in the Shot Put and finished 6th.  Christina Koch ran a :51.44 in the 300M low hurdles, taking almost a whole second off her time and finished 5th! A great job done by the whole team both here at Concordia, but through out the season.

May 3, 2008, GCAC Championship at Loyola
Trinity finished 10th out of 19 teams at the GCAC Championship. The 4x800 relay team of Maureen Conneely, Jess Rubin, Arielle Arzu and Liz Dolis turned in another fine run to finished 5th. Christina Koch finished 4th in the 300M low hurdles with a season best of :52.68.The 4x200 relay team of Nina Dones, Bianca Lopez, Allison Javorka, and Brittany Felton finished 6th.

April 26, 2008 at Ridgewood
The Trinity track team finished 4th out of 9 teams at Ridgewood.  Everyone seemed to contribute to an outstanding effort by the Blazers.  Christina Koch took 2nd in both the 100M dash and the 300M low hurdles.  Liz Dolis took 2nd int he 800M.  Arielle Arzu took 5th in the 400M with her best time to date, 1:08. Jess Rubin took 6th in the 1600M run. Ashley Valdez turned in her best time in the 100M high hurdles and took 6th. The 4x800 team of  Maureen Conneely, Jess Rubin, Arielle Arzu and Liz Dolis took 2nd, continuing to give run well meet after meet.  Christina Kosanovic took 3rd in the Shot Put with a season best 29-06.75. Rachael Jollif-Blake threw a season best in the Shot Put of 29-00.25 to take 4th.

April 23, 2008 at Benet
The Blazers traveled to Lisle for the Benet Invitational. The conditions were the best of the season so far and the girls turned in some great times and throws. The 4x800 relay team of Maureen Conneely, Jess Rubin, Arielle Arzu and Liz Dolis took 4th and turned in their best time of 11:11.8.  Chriatina Koch took 5th in the 100M and Mietka Head took 6th.  =Mietka followed that with a 5th place finished in the200M. Christina Kosanovic  took 6th in the Shot Out. The 4x100 relay team of Lauren Serrano, Christina Koch, Mietka Head and Priscilla Martinez finished 6th!

April 19, 2008 at Breme
The Blazers finished 11 out og 16 teams at the Bremen Invitational. Top performances the 4x800relay team of Maureen Conneely, Jess Rubin, Arielle Arzu and Liz Dolis who finished 4th.  Liz Dolis took 4th place in the 800M run.

April 11, 2008 at Leyden
Trinity finished 6th at Leyden.  The top blazers were Christina Kosanovic finish 4th in the shot put. Liz Dolis finished 5th in the 800.  Christina Koch finished 5th in both the 100M dash and the 300M low hurdles. Tatiana Cooper finished 5th in the shot put. Mietka Head finished 6th in the 200M.A great job by all, considering the cold wet rain and windy conditions.

April 2, 2008 at Loyola
This was the first outdoor meet of the season and 34 girls traveled to Loyola in Wilmette. This was not a scored meet but the girls were able to compete to get times and distances for upcoming track meet.

March 9
GCAC Indoor Championship, Trinity girls finish 8th out of 12 teams!  Congrats to the 4x800 relay team of Maureen Conneely, Jess Rubin, Arielle Arzu and Liz Dolis for taking 4th!
