I hope to ensure that Trinity will continue to produce great student-athletes who will become leaders at the next level. My vision is that all the sports programs at Trinity will be competing on a championship level, each and every year."
Trinity High School welcomed Mr. Steve Messina as our athletic director on February 2, 2004. Mr. Messina formerly was Administrative Commander of the Elmwood Park Police Department. He has a BS degree in Physical Education from Benedictine University in Atchison, Kansas and a MS degree in Criminal and Social Justice from Lewis University, Romeoville, Illinois.
Mr. Messina was a collegiate baseball player all four years while at Benedictine University. He coached grade school and high school baseball for twelve years and grade school basketball for four years. He is a former member of the Athletic Board at St. Vincent Ferrer in River Forest, IL and currently a Men's High School Basketball official for the East Suburban Catholic League.
